Rewind brings to life the age-old question: Can changing the past alter the future? The film follows Karthik (Sai Ronak), a young software developer, who falls in love at first sight with Shanti (Amrutha Chowdary). Just when he gathers the courage to propose, fate takes a heartbreaking turn, and he loses her. But when Karthik discovers a groundbreaking time machine, he embarks on a daring mission to rewrite their love story.
With stunning performances, breathtaking visuals, and a refreshing take on time travel, Rewind also boasts soul-stirring music, including tracks like “Love You…Nana” sung by Jaaved Ali and “Love at First Sight” by Karthik.
Reflecting on his role, Sai Ronak shared: “Rewind has a unique screenplay that instantly captivated me. On what he admires most about his character, Sai Ronak said: “Karthik’s honesty and his willingness to go to any lengths for love are qualities I deeply admire. I would love to embody his determination in my own life.”
Sharing her excitement, Amrutha Chowdary stated:”I can confidently say that Rewind offers audiences an unforgettable experience. Every single day on set was a joy, and I’ve made some incredible memories.”
Comparing herself to her character, she added:”Shanti is someone with immense clarity and confidence-she knows exactly what she wants in life. In contrast, I often go with the flow, uncertain about what the future holds. If anything, I aspire to be more like Shanti-focused and determined.”
When asked about her most memorable moment on set, Amrutha shared a fun anecdote:”Sai Ronak once played a prank on me! He was wearing special effects makeup for a scene, and I had no idea. When he walked into the room, I was so startled that I screamed. It was hilarious, and it’s a memory I will always cherish!”
