365telugu.com online news,TIRUMALA,AUGUST 23,2021: The month-long spiritual programme, Sakala Karya Siddhi Srimad Ramayana Parayanam concluded on a religious note at Vasanta Mandapam in Tirumala on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Additional EO AV Dharma Reddy said, as a part of its TTD’s mission to fight against ill effects of Covid seeking divine intervention, some spiritual programmes have been mulled since April last. “This programme is one such, which commenced on July 25 and 16 Vedic scholars recited important slokas from various kandas of Ramayana every day while another 16 Ritwiks performed Japa-Homams at Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham simultaneously”.
We could successfully overcome the ill impacts of Corona First wave and Second wave by reciting the slokas from Sundarakanda and Yuddhakanda respectively. As the Scientists, Doctors, Governments are citing the possibility of a Third-wave that would affect children, we are commencing Balakanda Parayanam from epic Ramayana from September 2 onwards which also will be telecasted live on SVBC for the sake of global devotees”, he added.
Meanwhile, all the important slokas from all kandas of Ramayanam were recited during these 30 days. The deities of Ramachandra Murthy with Sita Devi and Lakshmana Swamy were rendered Unjal Seva in the Vasanta Mandapam. Facing them the replicas of Anjana Devi with Bala Anjaneya Swamy were also placed.
Dr K Vandana, Lecturer in SV College of Music and Dance of TTD rendered Bhavayami Raghu Ramam—a Sankeertana penned by Swathi Tirunal which included all the kandas starting from Balakanda to Yuddhakanda in a mellifluous manner with her team.
AT DHARMAGIRI: After the completion of Sloka Parayanam at Vasanta Mandapam, the Vedic scholars performed Purnahuti at Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham marking the successful completion of the month-long spiritual programme.
