365Telugu.com online news,Mumbai, February 17th, 2025: SBI General Insurance, one of India’s top general insurance providers, has announced its collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer Welfare, Government of India, for the upcoming ‘Meri Policy Mere Haath’ campaign.
This doorstep policy distribution drive under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) will run from February 1 to March 15, 2025, aiming to deliver physical policy documents directly to farmers’ doorsteps.

The initiative will help raise awareness among farmers about the benefits of crop insurance and provide them with a smooth, transparent crop insurance experience.
The ‘Meri Policy Mere Haath’ campaign is designed to empower farmers by promoting transparency, accessibility, and awareness through the central toll-free number 14447 and the National Crop Insurance portal for reporting losses.
The initiative focuses on delivering crop insurance policy documents to farmers, informing them about the advantages of the scheme, and building trust in the system.

This campaign ensures that farmers stay well-informed about their crop coverage, claims process, and enrollment under the PMFBY Scheme.
As part of the campaign, SBI General will conduct a series of awareness workshops, including Fasal Bima Pathshala and women-centric workshops, across 8 states: Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh.
These workshops aim to educate farmers about the PMFBY scheme and its benefits. The campaign will also use social media platforms with dedicated hashtags like #MeriPolicyMereHaath, #PMFBY, #FasalBimaKarao, and #AtmanirbharKisan to further boost awareness and engagement.
