This monumental achievement, recognized by the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records, featured a diverse fleet including the Kylaq, Kodiaq, Kushaq, Slavia, and the iconic Yeti, showcasing the brand’s engineering prowess and the vibrant spirit of its community.

The Record-Breaking Journey
The convoy, comprising 60 Škoda enthusiasts from across India, traversed over 3,000 km of challenging terrain, navigating river crossings, steep inclines, and extreme weather conditions with temperatures ranging from -5°C to 25°C.
Starting in Manali, the group journeyed through Ladakh, crossing iconic landmarks like Leh, Khardung La, Pangong Tso, Hanle, and Thang—the last village before the ascent to Umling La, where temperatures dipped to -1°C. This feat marks the largest convoy of cars to ever conquer Umling La’s extreme altitude and conditions.
A Diverse Community United
The convoy brought together a diverse group of participants, including marathoners, doctors, families, children, elders, and first-time adventurers from cities such as Sangli, Mumbai, Gorakhpur, and New Delhi. United by their love for Škoda and the thrill of exploration, they shared stories, forged connections, and celebrated the journey, embodying the brand’s spirit of adventure and community.
Škoda’s Stellar 2025
This milestone caps a transformative year for Škoda Auto India. In the first half of 2025, the brand recorded its highest-ever half-yearly sales of 36,194 units, a 134% surge compared to H1 2024. The third quarter saw 17,161 units sold, reflecting a 110% growth over Q3 2024.
With cumulative sales of 53,355 units from January to September 2025, Škoda also expanded its network to over 315 touchpoints across 179 cities, reinforcing its commitment to accessibility and customer satisfaction.
