365telugu.com online news,October,3rd,2025:After 18 years of shaping India’s electronic music scene, Sunburn Festival, Asia’s premier EDM powerhouse, is taking a historic leap with its first international edition in Abu Dhabi in 2026. This milestone establishes Sunburn as India’s largest cultural export in live entertainment and marks its entry onto the global electronic music stage.

The Abu Dhabi edition, in collaboration with Ethara, one of the Middle East’s leading live experience creators, and BookMyShow, India’s top entertainment platform, will run alongside the traditional Sunburn Festival 2026 in India. For the first time, fans across two nations will experience synchronized EDM energy in a single weekend, bridging cultures with unified bass drops and a legendary lineup.

From its humble beginnings on Goa’s beaches in 2007, Sunburn has grown into India’s most iconic live entertainment brand, featuring Sunburn Arena, Sunburn Academy, and Sunburn Campus editions nationwide. Today, the festival ranks #8 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 Festivals of 2025, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with global giants like Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.

Karan Singh, CEO of Sunburn, stated:
“Eighteen years ago, we started a movement that would one day transcend borders. Sunburn Festival’s expansion to Abu Dhabi allows the world to experience the energy, scale, and community that define our flagship festival. This is not just internationalization; it’s about sharing Asia’s electronic music empire with a global audience.”

Sunburn Abu Dhabi 2026 reflects the festival’s philosophy that music is a movement, community is its core, and scale is its canvas. By connecting South Asia and the Middle East, the twin-flagship approach positions Sunburn as a defining voice in the international EDM ecosystem.

The India edition in 2025, taking place in Mumbai, will continue as planned, promising the largest and most immersive Sunburn experience yet. Over the years, Sunburn has hosted legendary DJs, including Martin Garrix, Skrillex, Swedish House Mafia, Marshmello, Alan Walker, Armin van Buuren, DJ Snake, Tiësto, The Chainsmokers, David Guetta, Charlotte De Witte, and Hardwell, drawing millions of fans and cementing its place in global dance music culture.
