According to the report, if harsh restrictions are not imposed on business operations more than 65% of the respondents from the city are keen on hiring talent in the current quarter. In fact, though Bangalore leads in terms of overall intent to hire, Hyderabad has also recorded positive growth in intent to hire (12% point rise in intent to hire over last quarter).


Dwelling deep as per the research, out of the 21 sectors reviewed nearly all the sectors have exhibited positive intent to hire. However, Information Technology (56% of the employers), Educational Services (49% of the employers), Logistics (45% of the employers), FMCG (40% of the employers), Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals (37% of the employers), Power & Energy (30 % of the employers) are the key sectors who are driving the intent to hire in Hyderabad. From a profile point of view, Systems Reliability Engineer, Financial Analyst, Credit Manager, Mobile / App Developer, Robotics Engineer are the top roles which are the most sought after in the current quarter in the city.
Commenting on the findings, Ms. Rituparna Chakraborty, Co-Founder & Executive Vice President, TeamLease Services, said, “Though IT and technology-linked firms are dominating the job creation eco-system in the city, other sectors are not that far behind. In fact, out of the 21 sectors reviewed nearly 6 sectors have indicated a growth rate of more than 19% compared to the previous quarter – indicating the employment scenario is on recovery mode across sectors in the city.” A comprehensive report covering the intent to hire across hierarchies as per the report, 23% Entry level and junior level are the most sought after job level in the city. More than 17% of the employers are looking to hire Middle level talent.
