365Telugu.com online news,Hyderabad, December 5th,2024: Suzlon and JSP Green Wind 1 Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Jindal Renewables, have taken their partnership to new heights with the announcement of an additional 302.4 MW wind power project in Koppal, Karnataka.

This initiative is poised to accelerate India’s push towards green steel production, making it a significant milestone in the nation’s renewable energy landscape.

This latest order boosts Jindal Renewables’ total wind energy capacity with Suzlon to an impressive 702.4 MW, marking Suzlon’s largest-ever commercial and industrial (C&I) order from a single customer.

Just last month, Suzlon secured a 400 MW captive wind power project with Jindal Renewables in the same region, underscoring the robust collaboration between the two companies.

Suzlon’s C&I clientele now represents 56% of its record-high 5.4 GW order book—the largest in the company’s history.

Under the agreement, Suzlon will deploy 96 advanced S144 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with Hybrid Lattice Towers (HLT), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. The energy produced will support captive consumption at steel plants in Chhattisgarh and Odisha, enhancing their sustainability and contributing to India’s transition to green energy.
