365telugu.com online news,India,August 13, 2025: Suzlon Group, India’s leading wind energy solutions provider, has announced robust first-quarter results for FY26, posting a 62% year-on-year rise in EBITDA to ₹599 crore. The performance underscores strong operational execution, healthy demand, and sustained customer trust in the company’s technology and capabilities.
Industry Outlook & Strategy
Vice Chairman Girish Tanti said the renewable energy sector is undergoing a structural transformation, with wind-dominant FDRE and RTC solutions playing a critical role in delivering reliable and affordable clean power. He noted that growing demand from commercial & industrial (C&I) and PSU customers, along with a strong repeat-order pipeline, reinforces Suzlon’s leadership position. “With India achieving 50% non-fossil fuel capacity ahead of target, our integrated domestic value chain positions us to capitalise on this momentum and drive the clean energy economy forward,” he added.
Market Momentum
CEO JP Chalasani highlighted that large PSU-led renewable energy auctions and rising C&I demand are fuelling market growth. “Our record deliveries this quarter reflect Suzlon’s execution strength and alignment with MNRE’s revised ALMM (Wind) guidelines — supporting India’s ‘Made in India’ clean energy transition. With 4.5 GW of annual manufacturing capacity, we are ready to power the nation’s future,” he said.

Financial Performance
CFO Himanshu Mody attributed the strong results to disciplined financial management, operational efficiency, and a resilient business model. He noted that the deferred tax charge of ₹134 crore in Q1 FY26 was purely an accounting adjustment, following the recognition of ₹630 crore in deferred tax assets last quarter, with no cash impact. “Our healthy order book ensures revenue visibility, while five-notch credit rating upgrades over two years highlight improved financial strength and funding flexibility,” Mody stated.
