Assurance Given by I&PR Commissioner

365telugu.com Online News, Hyderabad, January30, 2025: The Telangana Digital Media Journalist Association (TDMJA) leaders, Swami Muddam, Pothu Ashok, Pasupuleti Venkateswararao, and Dyyala Ashok, requested the Special Commissioner of Telangana Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department, S. Hareesh, on Wednesday to provide government advertisements to online news media (websites and apps) that deliver news to the public swiftly and effectively.

They submitted a letter to the Telangana State Secretariat, requesting government advertisements for online media. In response, I&PR Commissioner S. Hareesh assured that the process of providing government advertisements to online media (websites and apps) would begin soon. He also mentioned that guidelines for this process would be formulated shortly.

During this, Swami Muddam, a leader of the Telangana Digital Media Journalist Association, stated, “Digital media plays a crucial role as a bridge between the government and the people, providing timely and necessary news to the public. Many journalists are working in this sector.

We have requested I&PR Commissioner to provide government advertisements to online news media, and the Commissioner has assured that the process will begin soon.” He further highlighted that the creation of guidelines for the accreditation of online news media by the Telangana Media Academy will benefit journalists.
