365telugu.com Online News, Hyderabad, August 10, 2025: After a seven-year hiatus, The August Fest, a major festival celebrating startups, innovators, and creators, has made its comeback in Hyderabad.
Shifting its focus from entrepreneurship to technology, the event aligns with India’s goal of becoming a $30 trillion economy by 2047. Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, highlighted the role of innovators and disruptors in achieving Telangana’s vision of a $3 trillion GDP by 2047.

Ramana Gogula, music composer and entrepreneur, emphasized that startups must embrace AI, noting that tech giants are investing over $350 billion in AI data centers this year alone.
The festival also spotlighted grassroots innovators. Deepak Reddy, a mechanical engineer, created a harvester that removes stones from barren land, enabling farmers to cultivate 6,000 acres and earn an additional ₹9 crore.
Another innovator, Srija, a B.Tech student, founded a startup that makes eco-friendly products like biopots, teacups, and Lord Ganesh idols from groundnut shells, supported by a ₹4 lakh grant to scale her manufacturing unit. The festival also launched the Telangana Culinary and Experiential Tourism Accelerator, a new initiative to support cultural and culinary entrepreneurs.
