365telugu.com online news,Hyderabad, November 25, 2025: Global life sciences giant Thermo Fisher Scientific on Monday launched two cutting-edge facilities in Genome Valley: the Customer Experience Center (CEC) and the Bioprocess Design Center (BDC), marking a major boost to Telangana’s ambition of becoming the world’s leading life sciences hub.
The facilities, built with a combined investment of ₹85–90 crore, have been developed in partnership with the Government of Telangana and the Department of Biotechnology (Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India) under the Biotech Park Project.
Speaking at the inauguration, Telangana IT & Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu said, “These world-class centers will play a pivotal role in achieving our target of ₹1 lakh crore investment in life sciences by 2030. They will create high-skill jobs, foster industry-academia collaboration and firmly establish Telangana as the global life sciences capital.”

Key Highlights of the New Centers
- Customer Experience Center (CEC): A collaborative hub showcasing over 50 integrated workflows across 20+ applications in cell & gene therapy, mRNA therapeutics, oncology, proteomics, and analytical sciences. It offers hands-on training, co-development opportunities, and live demonstrations of Thermo Fisher’s flagship technologies.
- Bioprocess Design Center (BDC): India’s first bench-to-pilot scale-up facility for biologics and vaccines using single-use systems. Equipped with advanced labs for cell culture, microbial fermentation, purification, and analytical testing, it enables rapid prototyping and process optimization.
Together, the centers will support 200–250 researchers and scientists every year, accelerating innovation in bioprocessing, healthcare, clean energy, and semiconductors.
