365Telugu.com online news,Mumbai, 26th April 2025:Mumbai Indians’ highly anticipated match against Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday, 27th April at the iconic Wankhede Stadium will be dedicated to the Education and Sports for All (ESA) initiative, championed by Mrs. Nita M. Ambani. The annual ESA game has become one of the most heartwarming highlights of the IPL season for Mumbai Indians, with thousands of enthusiastic children from NGOs across Mumbai bringing their dreams and vibrant energy to the stands.

Ahead of the ESA game, Mrs. Nita M. Ambani addressed the MI team, reminding them of the day’s deep significance:
“Those who have been part of Mumbai Indians know how special this game is. Thousands of underprivileged children will be in the stadium, and the energy is magical. Please put on your best performance for them. Many of these children wait for years for a chance to watch a match live.”

Sharing a touching memory from a previous ESA Day, she added:
“I once sat with the kids in the stands, and I noticed a little girl barely touching her food. When I asked her why, she said, ‘I’m saving it for my brother because he’s never tasted cake.’ These are the lives we hope to uplift. We want to inspire them — to show that no matter where they come from, they can achieve greatness.”

Encouraging the players to make the occasion unforgettable, Mrs. Ambani said:
“This is not just a game; it’s a chance to inspire thousands of young hearts. You can help them believe that their dreams are valid and achievable.”

This Sunday, the Wankhede Stadium will come alive in a sea of blue and gold, with around 19,000 children — including 200 children with special needs — from diverse NGOs supported by the Reliance Foundation, cheering for their heroes. For many, it will be their first-ever live match experience, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Launched in 2010 by the Reliance Foundation (the CSR arm of Reliance Industries Limited) in collaboration with Mumbai Indians, the ESA initiative aims to make education and sports accessible to children from all walks of life. Every year, one Mumbai Indians match is celebrated as the ESA Game, bringing alive the mission of empowering young minds, igniting dreams, and celebrating the joy of learning and playing.

Over the years, ESA has become a beacon of inclusion, hope, and opportunity, resonating with the aspirations of India’s youth. It stands as a testament to Reliance Foundation’s belief that every child deserves the chance to learn, play, and thrive. Beyond the match day, ESA supports year-round activities that enrich children’s lives through education, sports, and cultural programs.

Since inception, Reliance Foundation’s sports initiatives have positively impacted over 23 million children and youth across India, with ESA playing a vital role in nurturing talent and ambition.

The ESA Match is more than just cricket — it is a celebration of dreams, inclusivity, and the incredible unifying power of sports.
