365telugu.com Online News, Hyderabad, September 5, 2025: In a significant move to bolster its legal and human rights wing, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has officially appointed seasoned youth leader Shashank Pasupuleti as the Coordinator for its Legal, Human Rights & RTI Department. The appointment takes immediate effect.

The decision was confirmed by a formal letter from Ponnam Ashok Goud, Chairman of the TPCC Legal, Human Rights & RTI Department. Goud praised Pasupuleti’s long-standing commitment to principles of justice, transparency, and accountability, expressing confidence that his leadership would be a major asset to the party’s agenda.

The letter highlighted that the department will operate under the collective guidance of key party leaders, including Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, AICC Legal Cell Chairman Abhishek Manu Singhvi, TPCC President & Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, TPCC Vice President & Legal Cell In-Charge Dr. Kota Neelima, and Sri Ponnam Ashok Goud.

Pasupuleti brings a decade of diverse experience to his new role. He currently serves as the State BC Youth Vice President under the leadership of Sri R. Krishnaih, where he has been a vocal advocate for Backward Classes (BC) reservations through various movements and campaigns.

His grassroots connections are further evidenced by his role as a State Executive Member of the Munir Kapu Community in Kacheguda, where he works to unify and strengthen the community across Telangana.

Beyond his political and social activism, Pasupuleti is also deeply involved in cultural and media spheres. He holds positions as the Vice President of Deccan Manav Seva Samiti and General Secretary of Secunderabad Ganesh Mahotsava Samiti, where he promotes Hindu cultural and traditional programs.

Furthermore, he is the founder of Word of India, a news platform known for its fearless and authentic reporting on public issues.

Upon his appointment, Pasupuleti reiterated his dedication to working on critical issues such as women’s safety, the protection of fundamental rights, and increasing awareness of the Right to Information (RTI) Act. He expressed his trust in the mentorship of Dr. Kota Neelima and Ponnam Ashok Goud.

This appointment is seen as a strategic step by the TPCC to reinforce its legal and human rights initiatives in Telangana, leveraging Pasupuleti’s extensive network and proven track record of community service.
