365Telugu.com Online News, Hyderabad, March 9th, 2025: Telangana Chief Minister is set to introduce several new schemes to promote women’s empowerment, ensuring equal opportunities across various sectors. The Telangana government is committed to providing women with a strong platform to excel, stated Dr. Harish, Special Commissioner of the Information and Public Relations Department.
Dr. Harish was speaking as the chief guest at a one-day training program on “Online Journalism – Women Journalists’ Empowerment”, held on Sunday at the Telangana Media Academy building in Chapel Road, Nampally. He emphasized that under the leadership of Media Academy Chairman K. Srinivas Reddy, the Journalist Accreditation Study Committee has made special recommendations for women journalists, which are expected to enhance their representation in the field.

Encouraging women journalists to excel beyond journalism, Dr. Harish cited Marie Curie as an inspiration, highlighting her historic achievement as the first woman to win Nobel Prizes in both Physics and Chemistry.
The training program, presided over by K. Srinivas Reddy, featured expert sessions on key topics:
- “Essentials of Online Journalism – Social Media Strategy” by Prof. Madhu Vishwanatham, ISB Data Science College
- “News Sources and Subject Expertise” by AI Specialist Rakesh Dubbudu
- “Online Journalism, Navigation, Credibility, and Artificial Intelligence” by Senior Assistant Professor Madhavi Ravi Kumar, Hyderabad University
- “Fake News and the Challenge of Misinformation” by Dr. Shruti Mantri, Associate Director, ISB Data Science College
A total of 50 women journalists from Hyderabad and various districts participated in the program. The Telangana Media Academy provided attendees with 10 books on journalism and certificates upon completion.
