As per SCR authorities, these segments foundation improvement works, support works and flagging viewpoints were done consistently after due authorize was agreed by Research Designs and Standards Organization (RDSO), Lucknow in 2020.
Subsequent to completing broad upgradation works in these areas, it has now been allowed to speed up train administrations from 110 kmph to 130 kmph on both all over lines of these segments which will be viable from September 12. “The segments that are covered under the speed execution idea are-Secunderabad-Kazipet-Balharshah, Kazipet-Kondapalli segments in Secunderabad Division, Kondapalli-Vijayawada-Gudur of Vijayawada Division, Renigunta-Guntakal-Wadi of Guntakal Division.
These segments cover the whole high-thickness course, brilliant quadrilateral and brilliant corner to corner courses of SCR, with the exception of the part between Vijayawada-Duvvada of Golden Diagonal course, where the works are in quick advancement for execution of sped up,” said a senior official, SCR.
