Covering 2,611 square kilometers across Nagarkurnool and Nalgonda districts, the reserve is home to diverse flora and fauna, including tigers, wild boars, nilgai, and blackbuck.
Installed strategically across Mannanur, Amrabad, and Maddimadugu forest ranges, these solar-powered borewells ensure a reliable and sustainable water supply for wildlife. Operated through clean energy, they automatically function from sunrise to sunset, eliminating manual intervention. By reducing water scarcity—especially during dry seasons—this initiative helps mitigate human-wildlife conflicts and supports the Chenchu tribal community, whose traditional way of life has been impacted by restricted forest access.

Speaking about the initiative, Amit Bajoria, Chief Financial Officer, Virtusa, said,
