365Telugu.com online news ,Hyderabad, May 5, 2025: YouTube, the global video streaming giant, has launched a pilot program for a Two-Person Premium Plan in India, alongside France, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. This innovative plan allows users to share their YouTube Premium or Music Premium subscription with one other family or household member. Priced at ₹219 per month in India, the plan offers a cost-effective alternative to the existing Student Plan (₹89/month) and Family Plan (₹299/month for up to five members).
The Two-Person Premium Plan includes all the benefits of YouTube Premium, such as ad-free video streaming, background playback, offline downloads, and access to YouTube Music Premium, for two users. Currently, this plan is available only to select users as part of the testing phase. YouTube will evaluate user feedback to determine whether to roll out the plan more broadly.

Tech analysts spotted the plan’s rollout and shared pricing details for India, although YouTube has yet to make an official announcement. If successful, the pilot could lead to the plan’s expansion to other markets, industry experts suggest.
