365telugu.com online news,Ahmedabad, November 11, 2025:Zydus Lifesciences Limited announced that China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has granted approval for Venlafaxine Extended-Release (ER) Capsules in 75 mg and 150 mg strengths.
The medication is indicated for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD), and Panic Disorder (PD). It works by restoring the balance of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, thereby improving mood and reducing anxiety.
The approved capsules will be manufactured at Zydus’ state-of-the-art facility in Moraiya, Ahmedabad.
This marks Zydus’ first product approval from China’s NMPA, opening doors to the world’s second-largest pharmaceutical market.
