365Telugu.com online news,Tirupati, January 18, 2025:The revered Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), known as the custodian of one of the holiest temples in the world, has found itself embroiled in governance failure, forcing unprecedented intervention by the Central Government.
Two tragic incidents-a stampede on January 8, 2025, and a fire on January 13, 2025-within the temple complex have cast a shadow on TTD’s management, raising serious concerns over its priorities.

Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has stepped in to address the lapses in crowd control and security arrangements. Shri Sanjeev Kumar Jindal, Additional Secretary (Disaster Management), MHA, will conduct a crucial review meeting with the TTD management on January 20, 2025.
Shri Jindal is scheduled to arrive in Tirupati at 8:00 PM on January 19, 2025, via train No. 20678 MGR Chennai Central Vande Bharat Express.

This intervention underscores the alarming trend of political interference overshadowing the sacred duty of governance at TTD. Instead of prioritizing the safety and well-being of millions of devotees, the management has seemingly become a battleground for political agendas.
