365Telugu.com online news, july 8th,2024:The highly anticipated sequel, Bharateeyudu 2 ( ‘Indian 2,’ )starring Universal Star Kamal Haasan and directed by the sensational Shankar, is set to release worldwide on July 12th in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages.

Produced by Lyca Productions and Subhaskaran under the banner of Red Giant, this big-budget film has generated immense buzz. The film is releasing in Telugu as Bharateeyudu 2 and in Hindi as Hindustani 2.

The Telugu theatrical rights have been acquired by Asian Suresh Entertainments LLP, while Srilakshmi Movies secured the ceeded rights. The pre-release event, held on Sunday, was a star-studded affair, where the film’s cast and crew shared their excitement and insights about the project.

Kamal Haasan Emphasizes the Emotional Core of  Bharateeyudu 2 (‘Indian 2’)

Kamal Haasan, addressing the audience, spoke about the film’s relevance to current times, emphasizing its focus on people and their struggles. He expressed gratitude towards the audience for their unwavering support throughout his career and mentioned the remarkable journey he has had in the film industry for over 52 years.

He highlighted the challenges of making a sequel after such a long gap, especially considering the increased costs involved. He praised Shankar’s vision and commended the Telugu film industry’s significant presence in India, reflecting its cultural importance.

Kamal Haasan also mentioned his personal connection to Telugu cinema, reminiscing about films like ‘Swatimuthyam’ and ‘Sagara Sangam,’ which broke language barriers.

He spoke about the transformative experience of playing Senapati, stating that Kamal Haasan was absent on the sets, completely immersed in the character. He concluded by urging the audience to support  Bharateeyudu 2 (‘Indian 2’) and make it a resounding success.

Shankar Unveils the Making of a Powerful Saga

Director Shankar, known for his grand cinematic vision, shared his creative process behind Bharateeyudu 2 (‘Indian 2,’ )emphasizing the importance of impactful storytelling. He revealed that the idea for the sequel came after the success of ‘2.O,’ and he was particularly inspired by Kamal Haasan’s father and brothers, drawing inspiration for Senapati’s look.

He spoke about the arduous process of shooting action sequences, praising Kamal Haasan’s dedication and commitment to his role. Shankar also highlighted the performances of other actors like Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, S.J. Surya, Bobby Simha, Samudrakhani, and Brahmanandam, appreciating their contributions to the film. He expressed his admiration for the music by Anirudh Ravichander and the technical brilliance of cinematographer Ravi Varman and art director Muthu Raj.

Shankar expressed his desire to create a Telugu film for the Telugu audience and mentioned Ram Charan’s impactful role in ‘Game Changer’, another upcoming project of his.

S.J. Surya, known for his intense acting, expressed his gratitude for working with Kamal Haasan and Shankar, sharing anecdotes about their dedication and passion. He also hinted at his larger role in the upcoming  Bharateeyudu 3 (‘Indian 3.’)

Siddharth, who had his breakout role in Shankar’s ‘Boys,’ conveyed his admiration for Kamal Haasan and his joy of working alongside him in Bharateeyudu 2 (‘Indian 2.’) He emphasized the film’s relevance to future generations and expressed his gratitude to the entire cast and crew.

Rakul Preet Singh praised the film’s creative team and expressed her pride in being part of such a significant project.

Brahmanandam, a renowned comedian, highlighted the privilege of acting in Bharateeyudu 2 ( ‘Indian 2’) and shared his admiration for Kamal Haasan’s acting prowess.

Suddhala Ashok Teja and Kasarla Shyam, renowned lyricists, shared their experiences writing songs for the film, highlighting Shankar’s understanding of Telugu sensibilities.
