365telugu.com online news,Hyderabad,04th,2025: A shocking incident unfolded at Chandrayangutta on Saturday night when an intoxicated auto-rickshaw driver allegedly attempted to intimidate traffic police personnel by brandishing a snake during a routine drunk-driving check.
Traffic officials said the driver, identified as Irfan, was stopped after he was found driving under the influence of alcohol. A breathalyser test confirmed intoxication, following which the police initiated action to seize the auto-rickshaw for violating traffic regulations.
During the process, the driver reportedly became aggressive. As officers asked him to remove his personal belongings from the vehicle, he suddenly pulled out a dead snake from inside the auto and waved it at the police, demanding that his vehicle be released immediately.
Despite attempts by the police to detain him, the accused managed to escape from the spot, abandoning the snake behind. The unusual incident was captured on video and later circulated widely on social media, triggering public shock and concern.

Police have registered a case against the driver for drunk driving and for threatening on-duty public servants. Efforts are currently underway to trace and apprehend the accused.
