365Telugu.com Online News, January 28, Hyderabad: National Institute of Tourism & HospitalityManagement, Gachibowli – Hyderabad (NITHM), as part of the “Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat” hosted a cultural evening program on 28th Jan’20 at their campus for a group of students from the state of Haryana.   This idea of a sustainable integrity was introduced by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji during the Rashtriya Ekta Divas on 31st October, 2015, which is also celebrated nationwide as the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the man behind today’s united India “Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat” is one such effort which goes on throughout the year in various levels, strengthening the bond between far off states and nourishing the feeling of unity. Under Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat the state of Telangana has been paired with the state of Haryana. The far off states are trying to bond with each other in an exchange programme of students of hospitality studies (IHM Panipat and IHM Faridabad) where they are visiting the capital of Telangana and being hosted primarily by IHM and India tourism Hyderabad. While IHM Hyderabad is offering hospitality and introducing the guests to the culinary art of Telanga, India tourism Hyderabad (Ministry of Tourism, Government of India) is helping out with the introduction of Telangana heritage, monuments, crafts, etc.

INDIA as a country stands for unity in diversity in so many different ways, the unique facts of India – needs to be understood and celebrated nationwide, her rich and ancient heritage, coupled with religion, culture, crafts, arts, monuments, rituals and the proud history of quest for freedom bind the whole country majestically. As Haryana has been paired with the State of Telangana. The students from State Institute of Hotel Management, Haryana are visiting Hyderabad from 24th to 28th of January, 2020. Programme at NITHM: The Haryana students were better acquainted with the traditional art and culture of our Telangana state, as the NITHM students performed a had a traditional welcome followed by the opening address and welcome by NITHM Director – Dr.S.Chinnam Reddy, the Assistant Director of Tourism Govt. of India Shri. Satarupa Datta – addressed the students briefly on their future perspectives,thereafter followed a welcome dance, the students of NITHM projected a complete picture of the Telangana State with videos and a presentation, A spectacular group dance performance by the NITHM girls on Bathukamma, Another dance was performed by the students of Harayana – after which the vote of thanks was given by NITHM Principal Mr.V.Narendra Kumar. The programe concluded with a traditional Telangana Cruise Fellowship Dinner.
