Through its Hinduja Foundation, the Group currently supports over 700,000 students across India via initiatives like Road to School and Road to Livelihood. The milestone event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, as the Chief Guest, and the Governor of Maharashtra, Shri C. P. He urged corporate India to invest in creating specialized educational institutions and cautioned against the commodification and commercialization of healthcare and education. “Philanthropic endeavors should not be driven by profit motives. Education is the most impactful mechanism for bringing about equality,” he stated. Expressing confidence in Hinduja College’s vision, he added, “This institution will not just stop at becoming a deemed university but will rise to global eminence.”

Reflecting on this milestone, Mr. Ashok Hinduja, Chairman, Hinduja Foundation, announced the college’s plan to establish a Skill Development Centre to bridge the industry-academia gap. With long-term aspirations to become a Deemed University, the college aims to expand its student capacity significantly. It will introduce cutting-edge programs in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Wealth Management, Climate Finance, and Export-Import Management.
Mr. Ashok Hinduja also advocated for the inclusion of Sanatan values in education, a sentiment endorsed by the Vice President, who reaffirmed that Sanatan promotes inclusivity.

Mr. Paul Abraham, President, Hinduja Foundation, highlighted the institution’s redevelopment plans, announcing a state-of-the-art, multi-storied facility with modern infrastructure and digital outreach capabilities. Expected to be completed by 2028, the project will triple the college’s physical capacity, enabling it to offer a broader spectrum of opportunities.
Hinduja College currently offers over 30 academic programs and was granted NAAC A+ accreditation in 2023-24. Having received autonomous status in 2022, the college has seamlessly aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to equip students with future-ready skills.
