365Telugu.com online news, December 2nd,2024: Another honor killing has taken place in Telangana. A lady constable was brutally murdered by her own brother in Ibrahimpatnam, Rangareddy district. Nagamani, who was serving at the Hayathnagar Police Station, was killed by her brother, Prasad.
The details of the incident are as follows: Nagamani had recently married outside her caste, which angered her family members. They had been upset with her for several days because of this marriage.
Her brother, waiting for the right moment, carried out the murder on Monday morning while Nagamani was on her way to work. He hit her with a car on the Rayapole-Endlaguda road and then slit her throat with a knife, killing her.
The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
