Directed by Venkata Ramana Pasupuleti and presented by P. Padmavati, Janam stars Suman in the lead alongside Ajay Ghosh, Kishore, Venkata Ramana, and Pragya Naina.

Writer-director-producer Venkata Ramana Pasupuleti, speaking about the re-release, said,
“This film is a heartfelt attempt to awaken today’s youth, who are increasingly being distracted and manipulated. It explores how citizens are becoming slaves to smartphones, alcohol, and the lure of easy money handed out by political leaders.
There was a time when cinema inspired thought and introspection. Today, films filled with absurd spectacles-like planes exploding at a glance-are raking in massive collections. We must ask ourselves what kind of future we are creating.”
