The data, collected between July and December 2024, reveals that Jio delivered an impressive average 5G download speed of 258.54 Mbps, securing the top spot. Airtel followed with a speed of 205.1 Mbps.
Jio also emerged as the fastest mobile network in India, boasting an average overall download speed of 158.63 Mbps, significantly ahead of Airtel’s 100.67 Mbps. Vodafone Idea remained in third place, trailing far behind at just 21.6 Mbps.

While Jio dominated in speed and coverage, Airtel held a competitive edge in video streaming and 5G gaming experiences. Airtel led with a video streaming experience score of 65.73, and in the closely fought 5G gaming category, Airtel scored 80.17, slightly ahead of Jio’s 76.58.
