Confirming the delay, SpaceX announced on social media, “Standing down from tonight’s launch opportunity of @NASA’s Crew-10 mission to the @Space_Station.”

Despite this setback, both NASA and SpaceX remain hopeful about a quick resolution. Alternative launch windows are available on Thursday and Friday, and the mission could proceed later this week if the issue is fixed in time.

The Crew-10 mission was set to transport NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, along with JAXA astronaut Takuya Onishi and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov, to replace Williams and Wilmore aboard the ISS.

Following the mission delay, the Dragon spacecraft’s crew exited safely, and the Falcon 9 rocket remains secure. However, the postponement has extended Williams and Wilmore’s stay aboard the ISS.
