The annual chariot festival in Puri attracts lakhs of devotees who come to witness the majestic procession of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra from the Jagannath Temple to the Gundicha Temple.
Upholding its spirit of seva, Reliance Foundation, embodying its hallmark ‘We Care’ philosophy, is proudly supporting this 13-day sacred journey with several meaningful contributions.

Key highlights of Reliance’s Seva initiatives include:
- Anna Seva: Reliance Foundation is providing hot, nutritious meals to lakhs of devotees and police personnel at six major points along the yatra route, ensuring that no one goes hungry.
- Hygiene and Sanitation: Installation of contactless sanitizers at food stalls, distribution of garbage bags in partnership with municipal authorities, and provision of sanitation facilities at police camps to maintain cleanliness.
- Crowd Management: Coordination with municipal and police authorities to guide devotees through clear signage and markers, ensuring seamless navigation for visitors from distant places.
- Volunteer Support: Deployment of over 4,000 trained volunteers in distinct uniforms to manage crowds and oversee water stations, keeping devotees hydrated during the summer heat.
- Heat Comfort: Distribution of more than 1.5 lakh eco-friendly hand fans to help pilgrims stay cool.
- Police Assistance: Establishment of 100 police aid posts with shelters for on-duty staff and accessible help points for devotees.
- Weather Preparedness: Considering the rainy season, 3,500 raincoats have been provided to police personnel, along with refreshment kits for volunteers, municipal staff, and police teams.
