With a presence across 51 districts and major branches in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Warangal, Karimnagar, and Nellore, TATA AIG has expanded its healthcare network to over 1600 hospitals and empowered 14,500 advisors, contributing to both improved access and local livelihood generation.

New Product Launch: MediCare Select

To address the growing demand for accessible healthcare, TATA AIG has launched MediCare Select — a flexible and affordable health insurance product tailored for a broad range of customers, from newborns to senior citizens. With no entry age limit, customizable features, and attractive benefits like a 7.5% salary discount and lifelong Young Family Discount, the plan is designed to cater to evolving health needs across income groups.

Medical inflation in the two states has reached 16%, surpassing the national average of 13%, prompting the need for more cost-effective health insurance solutions. MediCare Select aims to bridge this gap and offer protection against soaring treatment costs.

Over the past three years, cancer treatment has become the leading cause of hospitalization in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, with a 25% rise in expenses and average costs at ₹1.6 lakh. Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) treatment costs have increased by 40%, and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) by 38%, underscoring the urgency of affordable coverage. Notably, TATA AIG settled a ₹1 crore claim in Hyderabad for a severe CAD case in 2025.
