Reviewing on the Annamaiah Sankeertans Recording with the Selection Committee at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Monday, the Additional EO said, the saint-poet has penned 32,000 Sankeertans of which14,000are available and TTD is doing the composition for all these Sankeertans to bring before the devotees.
He is also of the opinion that the Committee should give priority to youth. The committee should record 1000 Sankeertans while recording them through SV Recording Project.TTD is also planning half an hour program every day telecasting Annamacharya, Tarigonda Vengamamba, Sri Purandara Dasa Sankeertans in SVBC. So the Selection Committee should select the youth who are well versed and sing the Sankeertans with utmost devotion, he opined.
